Legal information & logistics support
Hold the thread
when everything else is moving.
When someone you love is arrested, Lifeline helps you organize what you know — dates, contacts, documents, next steps — and keeps it reachable from any phone, any time. Not a lawyer. A private line you can count on.
How it works
Three steps. One steady thread.
Built for the first 24 hours — and every day after.
Guided Intake
A calm, step-by-step walkthrough helps you organize what you know — dates, contacts, documents, and logistics — into a clear, structured record. Nothing is rushed.
Case Profile
Your answers become a private profile that only you and your attorney can see. It stays sealed away from the callable line — by design, not by policy.
Callable Lifeline
A dedicated phone number with a private PIN. Call it anytime — from any phone — to hear a recap of upcoming dates, tasks, and contacts. Logistics only. Safe to use from a facility phone.
Two surfaces, one system
Safe where it counts.
Private where it matters.
Intake & Case Profile
The complete picture — charges, timeline, contacts, documents, logistics — lives in a sealed record. Only you and your attorney access it. It is never read by the phone line.
- Organizes your case information
- Attorney-shareable summary
- Preparation checklist with questions to ask your lawyer
- Stored separately from the phone surface
Callable Lifeline
A dedicated number, reachable from any phone with a private PIN. It recaps upcoming dates, contacts, and tasks — logistics only. Case facts are never discussed, never accessible.
- Dates, contacts, and tasks only
- Safe to use from a facility phone
- Case facts are sealed — never on this line
- Private PIN — only the caller you set
Why the separation matters: Jail and detention calls are recorded and monitored by the facility. Lifeline keeps case facts sealed from the phone line by construction — it is not a policy, it is an architectural boundary. Logistics are safe to discuss. Case facts never appear on the line.

Questions
Honest answers.
- Is this a law firm? Does it give legal advice?
- No. Lifeline is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. It organizes the information you already have and surfaces questions to ask your attorney. Nothing here creates an attorney-client relationship or substitutes for a licensed attorney.
- Are my inputs protected by attorney-client privilege?
- This conversation is not protected by attorney-client privilege. Law enforcement can subpoena your inputs. Do not enter anything you would not want a prosecutor to read.
- Are calls to the Lifeline number recorded?
- Jail and detention facility calls are recorded and monitored by the facility — that is standard practice outside our control. That is precisely why the callable line discusses only logistics: dates, contacts, and tasks. It never discusses case facts, charges, or legal matters. It is safe to use from a facility phone for logistics.
- Why are case details kept separate from the phone line?
- Your intake profile — charges, timeline, and case facts — is stored in a sealed record that the callable phone line cannot read, by architecture rather than by promise. Only logistics-safe information (dates, contact names, document labels) ever crosses to the phone surface. Your attorney receives a complete summary through a separate, secure channel.
- Do I need an attorney to use Lifeline?
- No. Lifeline works whether you have retained counsel, a public defender, or are still searching. We encourage you to share the structured profile with any attorney you work with — that is one of the things it is designed for.
- Can I cancel at any time?
- Yes. You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time through the self-serve customer portal. Your access continues through the end of the billing period you have paid for.
